Day
1
Meet at Seaside Raddison for get acquainted, briefing, cruise plan, last minute shopping, communications and etc. Board Talisman at the Raddison Dock and get familiar with your yacht. Get underway and head for English Caye, (approximately two hours) where we will anchor for the night. Dine on board, relax and get settled in.
Day 2
Sunrise over the Belize Reef! Breakfast at anchor. Go ashore, swim, visit with lighthouse keeper and family, drop off some supplies, get some coconuts and home made buns, set sail for Turneffe Atoll outside the main reef (approximately three hours). Anchor at Douglas Caye, uninhabited, and have lunch aboard. Explore the large central lagoon by inflatable, view wildlife, go sport fishing or just relax on board; appetizers, sundowners, music, dinner, conversation and lights out.

 Day
3
Breakfast on board, swim, snorkel, identify corals and tropical fish and cruise in the inflatable. Weigh anchor and set sail for Caye Bokel (two hours) at the southern end of Turneffe Islands Atoll. Find secure anchorage and visit Turneffe Island Lodge, a remote sport fishing resort, for lunch ashore. Explore the old lighthouse ruins and the mangrove cayes of the southern lagoon. Try your hand at afternoon spear fishing, walk a deserted beach or read a good book. Dine on board. How about "catch of the day"? |

Day
4 
Set sail early, south along the outside of the barrier reef for Tobacco Caye Split (three to four hours). Find comfortable anchorage inside the reef in the Tobacco Caye Range, picturesque, palm studded islands. This area is great for snorkeling, kayaking or investigating the islands. Maybe take a launch into Stann Creek Settlement, a carib village, (one hour); shop the local market, walk through town or have a cold one in a colorful local establishment. Return to Talisman, dine, relax, recount the day's events, count the stars, lights out.

Day
5 
Pick our way southward in protected waters, through the cayes and numerous coral reefs, to Long Coco Caye. This Robinson Crusoe type island is great for beach combing, swinging hammocks or having a bar-b-que ashore. Collect blue crabs at night for a coconut crab curry. See the hawksbill turtles, graceful leopard rays and soaring frigate birds. Pelicans and porpoises will visit you. By now you are tan and relaxed and trying to figure out how to stay longer, maybe forever. |
 Day
6
Cruise to Pt. Placencia, a Creole village on the southern coast of Belize. Placencia has beautiful beaches, nice restaurants, interesting shops and wonderful people. Sometimes there will be other cruisers in port from distant lands. It's a fun and safe place to really let your hair down, plenty of small seaside clubs and always good music and dancing. Dinner ashore, party with new friends, watch a movie on board, plan tomorrow's activities. |

7 
So many options; go to Monkey River for a step back in time, take scuba lessons, kayak through the mangrove lagoons, visit Seine Bight village and see the Djankunu dancers, go coconut bowling, walk the beaches, relax on board, ride the wild hammock. Have a farewell party, exchange addresses, one more fabulous dinner on board, count the stars once again. Peaceful island sleep.

Rise early, smell the espresso, feel the gentle trade winds, take a swim, walkon the beach, hit the local bakery, pack your bag and all your memories, head for the airstrip, we will fly you right to Belize International Airport. Until next time.
