Belize Sailing Charters sails the western Caribbean from Belize to Panama. This area, often referred to as "The Wild West" by the "civilized" eastern islanders, is truly a natural wonderland. It's pristine waters, countless islands and interesting inhabitants makes it unique in the Caribbean, an adventure lover's dream and a sportsman's paradise. The scarcity of yacht clubs, expensive restaurants, cruise ships and the like is offset by a host of interesting opportunities to enjoy and experience in this exciting last frontier. To us "adventure" doesn't mean dangerous, challenging or stressfull. We specialize in accessing spectacular destinations in total safety and super comfort.

Our cruising grounds are carefully chosen for their abundance of great sailing opportunities, secure, secluded anchorages and hundreds of miles of coral reef. In addition there are countless tropical cayes, many of them uninhabited, and an incredible variety of land and sea creatures.

But what about social life? While there are developed resort areas complete with tennis courts, swimming pools and cable television, they are the exception. There are numerous small villages both on the cayes and on the mainland. These are fascinating places to visit. The natives are warm and friendly and the cuisine is interesting and diverse. There are usually restaurants and a few small shops, a jeweler, a wood carver and always the colorful dockside bar.

Will we meet other cruisers? You might, but you will never visit a crowded anchorage or see a dozen other sails in a day. A typical night might include a beach bar-b-que, dancing to a local band or, how about a round of coconut bowling ?
